For this assignment, we were doing something a little different. instead of using graphite pencils and white paper we were given a black and a white charcoal pencil with some grey colored paper. The reason that we had a different color paper was so that e could really work on using our darker darks and lighter lights because the middle tones were already there. Also, we were working on the scaling of drawing, which means that we had to find a black and white picture to draw that was printed at a certain size. Then we got our paper that was a little larger and we had the section of each paper and really be able to focus on each part of the picture as we draw it larger. I feel that I did a really good job making sure that I made the picture correct in scale. Although I think I could have done a better job making sure that I really pushed into my values.
